Breakfast (if you have booked directly with us) consists of your choice of cereals, fruit, toast, cooked breakfast choice, teas/coffee or hot chocolate.

Evening Meal

We can offer you the choice of evening meal to save you having to go out in the evening after a day spent hiking on the moor.

Good Farmhouse meals which can include ‘Shepherd’s pie’ using our own Dartmoor born and bred lamb, Sunday Roast with locally produced produce, beef, lamb, chicken or pork with seasonal veg and of course roast potatoes and ‘Dartmoor puddings’ (well Yorkshire ones really!). 

We offer a great choice of salads and ‘Ploughman’s’ with ham or cheese from the local area – or perhaps a Devon Pasty made with our own beef skirt and crimped over the top in the traditional Devon way.

Obviously, Vegetarian options of the above can be provided if you let us know in advance.

Our kitchen is the palace of puddings, so from ‘Trifle’ to ‘Crumble’ and everything in between, there will always be a choice served with custard and lashings of Clotted cream.

Please let us know a few days before you arrive or on booking if you require an evening meal.

Packed Lunch

Sandwiches, Pasta salad box, cake and fruit can be packed up for you to take on your walk.
